Philippe Berger
I am 58 years old. I grew up in France, moved to USA 20 years ago and became a US citizen in 2019. I live in West Chester, PA with my wife Beatrice.
This is our 2nd year at Jockey Beach Club. We bought our condo in March 2021 and have enjoyed the long weekends in Ocean City since.
I work in the Graphics Arts Industry as a Print Production Consultant. When I am not working, I like doing DIY home projects, fish, listen to music or paint.
Barbra Diaz
My husband, Walter, and I have been bringing our daughters to OC for over 20 years. We said for years that we should just go ahead and buy a place. Four years ago, we finally bought our place here at Jockey Beach and have loved every moment of making it our own. Having such a family atmosphere and a condo association that really values owner input and participation has been very refreshing and something that we have not seen from family and friends that own in other buildings around town. Stepping up to be a part of the Association board is our way of keeping the same family and owner-oriented framework that has kept things moving around the beach club over the years. Walter and I enjoy doing the hands-on work when renovating but also know when we need to call in professional reinforcements and would be happy to bring the same energy to the board in any capacity that is needed. Please feel free to send any questions or concerns my way.
Tammy Hinkle
Hello. I am running to become a member of our Homeowners Association. I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Tammy Hinkle. My husband and I have been owners in the Preakness Building for 18 years. I retired from Montgomery County Police, where I served as a Crossing Guard for 26 years. My husband and I have two daughters and four grandchildren. We are currently building a new home on Kent Island. This puts us that much closer to Ocean City, giving me more flexibility to best serve on our HOA. I also live at our condo most of the summer. I can usually be found on the weekends set up on the beach, near the dunes, with my family and friends. This is where you’ll usually find me chasing my grandkids around, building sandcastles and playing lots of corn hole. You might even catch us enjoying a dance are two. If you don’t know me, it wouldn’t take long for you to see that my family and friends are my world! I have experience on a previous HOA, where I served as a member of our grounds and architectural committee for several years. I also spent many years volunteering as our Swim Team Apparel and Concessions Representative. I am very passionate about all that I do. If given the chance, I’d like to be able to represent and work towards bettering our Jockey Beach Club community. I intend to be a voice for all owners, Full-time Residents, Part-time Residents and Renters. I want to put building improvements on the front burner as it is a benefit to all of the owners. My intent is to make JBC a comfortable place to reside for both owners and renters. I intend to be a resource for all property owners to make our properties as profitable and relaxing as possible for all to coexist.
Bronson Spooner
My name is Bronson Spooner and my wife and I are owners in the Belmont building unit 368. We purchased approximately 3 years ago and despite having busy schedules, we spend many weekends at our condo. I love the community and would be honored to be part of the board. I’ve had many experiences in my years and feel I’m very capable with any position that the board requires. I would greatly appreciate your consideration.
